Director’s biography
Laszlo Nemes was born February 18, 1977 in Budapest, Hungary and grew up in Paris. After studying History, International Relations and Screenwriting, he started working as an assistant director in France and Hungary on short and feature films. For two years, he worked as Béla Tarr’s assistant. After directing his first 35-mm short film, With a Little Patience, he moved to New York to study film directing. Along with his new short project, to be shot this winter, he is currently developing his first feature film.
Producer
András Muhi is the founder and president of Inforg Studio, one of the leading, most active and innovative film production companies in Hungary. Recipient of multiple awards, pioneer in discovering new talents, he has produced successful, award-winning Hungarian short and feature length films, such as Before Dawn, Forest, Dealer, or Milky Way.
Cinematographer
Mátyás Erdely, after his studies at the Hungarian Film School in Cinematography, successfully completed an MFA at American Film Institute in Cinematography. He has been active for more than ten years, and shot numerous internationally renowned shorts, features, music videos and commercials, in the US, Hungary and the UK.
Sound Designer
Tamás Zányi has been a sound designer and production mixer for a decade, participating in the success of award-winning feature films such as Hukkle, Dealer, Taxidermia.
Leading Role
Virág Marjai
Virág Marjai is a young actress affiliated to a famous theater in Budapest, Radnoti theater. Originally trained at the Hungarian Academy of Film and Theater, she has been seen and remarked in numerous plays, both classic and new creations. With a Little Patience is her first important role in a film.
